      We have had another lovely sunny week in the Coral Reef and the children have enjoyed some sensible time in the sun where the children have enjoyed snack in our shaded hut and lots of water refreshments.

      Finally the sun has been shining and this has allowed for lots of play and learning to take place outside this week.

      We have been really creative this week combining different mediums to create artwork, learning how to join the mediums together by tying, using glue and tape and creating different effects with fine tip pens and graphite pencils.

      The butterflies have been released and it was magical! What a fab end to the term and our Bugs Life topic!

      After using ten frames to work out if we had enough pots and sunflower seeds the children set to work estimating how many spoonfuls of compost we would need to fill each pot, then they each planted a sunflower seed.

      This week we have made the most of the sunshine and have enjoyed taking our learning outside where we have been bug hunting, building shelters, playing with water, planting and even eating our snack under our shelter.
